Ezra Pound

Ezra Pound, American poet and founder of the Imagist movement. Eliot sent him a draft copy of The Waste Land, which he radically edited. Eliot recognised his superior critical skills by dedicating the poem to him with a quotation from Dante: il miglior fabbro ("the better craftsman").
